FAQ
What makes your bags sustainable?
At SAKITA, we strive to be as sustainable as possible. We use locally sourced full-grain leather and embrace traditional saddle-stitching techniques to create bags that are made to last.
We also source other materials locally to reduce our carbon footprint and support Australian craftsmanship. Through these efforts, we are committed to slow fashion, creating timeless pieces while minimising waste.
Who makes the bags?
Every bag is handcrafted by Christine, the designer and maker. Each piece is unique —no two bags are the same, ensuring that you get a one-of-a-kind item made with craftsmanship.
When will I receive my leather bag?
Each leather bag is made to order, so please allow up to 2 weeks for production.
After that, shipping within Australia typically takes 1-4 days, and international shipping can take 9-28 days depending on your location.
We’ll keep you updated with tracking information as soon as your order ships.
What’s your return policy?
We want you to love your leather goods! If something isn’t quite right, you can return or exchange your bag within 14 days of receiving it.
Please ensure the bag is unused, unworn, and in its original condition. For full details, visit our Refund policy page.
Do you offer free shipping?
We're currently offering free international shipping to celebrate our launch. After this period, shipping costs will be calculated at checkout based on your location.
Can I track my order?
Absolutely! Once your leather bag has shipped, you’ll receive a tracking number via email so you can follow your order right to your doorstep.
Do you do custom designs?
Not just yet, but we’re excited to offer custom designs in the future. Keep an eye out for updates on personalised options as we expand our range!
How should I care for my leather bag?
To keep your leather bag looking its best, regularly condition it with a natural leather conditioner. Keep it away from water, and store it in a cool, dry place when not in use.
